Support the representation and advocacy for Head Start at all levels of government.

The Michigan Head Start Association actively works on behalf of Head Start children, families, programs and community. Since our inception, the promotion of Head Start by the MHSA has resulted in favorable funding and policies for early childhood development by state and federal legislative bodies, and a strong unified voice for Head Start programs at all levels of government. We are the sole organization in the state to advocate exclusively for the needs of Head Start children, families and programs. We work continuously to educate Michigan's legislators, departments and key decision makers regarding the importance of the Head Start Community and programs. Your membership helps us to continue our work to make sure that the needs of Head Start children and families are represented at a state level.
